Baptism

What is baptism? I know this is a question that linger in most of Christian minds why do this ritual of being immersed in water.?, so what is the big deal of me being baptized have I not washed myself enough to be clean ,this reminds me of apostle peter comments in the thirteen chapter of John when Jesus wanted to wash his disciples feet, as simple as the washing of disciples feet was it carried with it great weight such that Jesus made it a condition that unless peters legs be washed by Him peter has no place in Jesus.        Baptism was a ritual introduced by Jesus in mark! 6:16 refer also to the famous phrase in Matthew 28:16-20 commonly termed the great commission  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou says. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. An

Service to God

whereas the English phrase "service " has the meaning of being actively involved in doing something the actual meaning in the bible is waiting on God .Doing service to God means waiting on God according to the eastern thought .When you are involved in the service of God the correct occupation is waiting on Him actively ready to respond to any assignment He gives, waiting on HIM may necessarily mean mounting the pulpit but it is not mounting the pulpit, it might involve going to far country to minister but it is not going to a far country but actually waiting on God  We need to change our mentality as Christian and stop fighting for something that was not predestined to be so. Whether i sit in the front or back my question is I'm I waiting on HIM.
